The department is a clinical department committed to providing medical services, medical education and medicalresearch on stomatology and it has clinics covering oral medicine, oral surgery, prosthodontics,orthodontics and dental implantation, and inpatient wards. Thedepartment has 20 beds and is the postgraduate training base of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Vice-chairman Unit of Guangdong Stomatology Association, Standing Member Unit of Guangdong Oral and MaxillofacialSurgery Association, Vice-chairman Unit of Foshan Stomatology Association, Chairman Unit of Foshan Oral   Implantology Association, Key Specialty Unit of Foshan City. The department is also the only one to open independent oral nursing clinic in Foshan’scomprehensive hospitals. The department has 15 medical professionals(7 get senior title and 8 get intermediate title) and 10 of them get master degree.

The department can provides all medical services pertaining to oral problems and oral trauma clinic, implantation clinic and orthodontics clinic are the best. Some oral treatment techniques, such as immediate implantation and restoration in 2-hour, maxillofacial traumatic digital repair, adelomorphicorthodontics and ceramic restoration has reached the leading domestic level and international advanced level.

The maxillofacial trauma clinic attracts a lot of patients in Pearl River Delta region to visit our hospital. It has achieved promising therapeutic effect by using minimally invasive therapy, integrated Chinese and western medicine therapy and internal fixation surgery, especially in the treatment of old fracture, panfacical fracture, et al.

The implantation clinic is a key specialty in our hospital and it is good at providing implantation services for patients with bone deficiency, senior citizens, and patients with hypertension or diabetes.

The orthodontics clinic can perform metal bracket conventional orthodontics, self-ligating bracketorthodontics, invisible orthodontics, invisible bracket-less orthodontics and lingual orthodontics. The clinic also treats all kinds of dentition abnormalities.
