Auricular point become a communicative bridge between Chinese and western

The 8th international auricular point medical conference was held from 2014-05-07 to 2-14-05-10 in USA, chief physician Ji-Hong Liu in preventive treatment center was invited to give a presentation about research and application of auricular point and exchange views with European and American experts.

Chinese auricular point experts are emerging as one of the most confident teams

The conference was held in Johns Hopkins University, one of American top medical university. More than two hundred experts were present at the meeting, who came from France, Germany, and so on. Only 20 experts, more or less, were from Asia. Chinese delegation was composed of Ji-Hong Liu, Dr. Lei Wang, who was from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Xiao-Nan Meng, who was from Beijing Huguosi Chinese Medical Hospital. The western auricular point medical world was deeply impressed by Chinese wonderful speech on wide clinical application, definite efficacy and various techniques of auricular point in China.

Foshan auricular point therapy was acclaimed

With the accompaniment of melodious guqin music, the video showed Chinese culture, Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, Foshan and our hospital. Dr. Terry Oleson, who was in charge of the American certification association of auricular application therapy and the international auricular medical conference, requested to put the video on the website of the organizer and Youtube.

We reaped friendship by academic communication

Dr. Frank Bahr, who was from Germany, and his student, Dr. Wirz-Ridolfi was devoting themselves to the auricular communication between Europe and China. Dr. Wirz proposed to conduct a study tour to our hospital after his auricular classes in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in November. To express our thanks to the organizers, Ji-Hong Liu presented health books and Shiwan ceramic to Dr. Richard C Niemtzow, the chairman of the conference, and Dr. Terry Oleson, the vice-chairman. After the conference, chief physician Ji-Hong Liu was invited to give a lecture in New York combined Chinese and western medical rehabilitation and pain therapy center which was in Brooklyn Chinatown.
