1.History of trauma; 2.Swelling, pain, deformity, dysfunction and bony crepitus. 3.X ray scan can confirm the diagnosis of fracture like greenstick fracture and complete fracture.

Treatment: manipulative reduction skills of TCM, external splint fixation, or manipulative closed reduction plus elastic stable intramedullary nailing(ESIN)

1 Reduction Method: Greenstick fracture and fissure fracture without displacement should be protected by external splint.

For complete fracture, manipulative reduction skills of TCM could be considered.

2 Fixation Method: The wounded arm requires to be stabilized by four pieces of splint and another splint to prevent rotation for 6~8 weeks.

3 Displaced fractures may require manipulative closed reduction plus elastic stable intramedullary nailing (ESIN). After the operation, plaster or splint should be used to stabilize the wounded arm for four weeks.

Rehabilitation: Patient should be guided by professionals to do rehabilitative exercise. Modulated medium frequency electrotherapy, infrared therapy and TCM could be selected to assist the rehabilitative exercise according to the different stage.
